Here it is the first of our reviews and recommendations.
Someone had to be the first so we decided that someone had to be CNC Coatings at Lake Industrial Way in Sandown simply for the quality of their work and their level of customer service.
CNC Coatings completely transformed the wheels on both of the TPAG cars and it has to be said they job they done was fantastic.
The first of the cars to be done was Mel's little Seat Arosa.
CNC were given a set of wheels that were originally purchased for one of our Nissan Cubes and have been floating around various gardens and garages for the last couple of years. We took them to CNC and Mel obviously had a very clear idea of what she wanted for them, or at least she thought she did. The guys at CNC listened to what she wanted and how she described her vision for the little car and then gave her some ideas of their own.
They took the wheels, that were in a bit of a state with some light corrosion where the lacquer and paint had peeled over the years, and transformed them in to what can only be described as a circular masterpiece
Even though they didn't have the exact colour match for Mel's car they were able to mix a match......from only seeing the car in the metal once!
They kept Mel updated with photos to show the progress and then threw in an extra something in form of a glitter top coat to really make the wheels sparkle, they even waited for her to find some replacement centre caps and painted them also.
On the basis of the job they done on Mel's wheels when Keg decided to have the wheels refurbed on the Range Rover the obvious choice was CNC again.
The wheels themselves were in pretty good shape with some light kerbing marks from the previous owner and what looked like some terrible attempts at tidying them with mismatched paint.
Keg discussed with them what he was originally after and again the guys at CNC gave their opinion.
It was decided that instead of going with a black or grey (which is what the original plan was) the Range Rover should get something that stood out a little more. There was several discussions while Keg made his choice and the folks at CNC were incredibly patient and always willing to revisit ideas.
As expected the completed job was stunning and the finish on the wheels was phenomenal.
So due to the quality of their workmanship, their patience, attention to detail and their generally friendly approach CNC Coatings get the first official.............
